A Family Easter at The Feathers in Woodstock

Hotel getaways aren’t just for the grown ups. Proving the point is The Feathers Hotel in Woodstock where mums and dads are invited to bring the youngsters free of charge this Easter for a whole host of fabulous family fun.

While the thought of a great value, luxury break appeals to mums and dads, it will most likely be the chance to meet the stars of Peppa Pig that will appeal to the Feathers’ younger guests. On Easter Sunday and Monday this year (April 24th and 25th), Peppa Pig and friends will be at the Pleasure Gardens at Blenheim Palace to meet families and fans, so why not join them there for a lovely day out?

With the Feathers as your base for the weekend, not only can you meet your favourite TV stars this Easter, you can also enjoy wonderful days out with the family – perhaps visiting the Dreaming Spires of Oxford, punting down the river, exploring the Cotswolds countryside or discovering Blenheim Palace.

The Feather’s ‘Family Easter’ package is priced at £470 based on a two-night stay, checking-in on Good Friday. Children under 12 may stay and eat free of charge when sharing their parents’ room. The offer is based on 2 adults and 2 children under twelve sharing and is inclusive of:

  • High tea for the children, served from 5.30pm in the bar
  • Dinner for the adults in the Feathers’ fine-dining restaurant
  • A family ticket (up to two adults and two children) for Blenheim Palace
  • 'Feathers’ breakfast for the family

Upgrades to a suite double or twin are £90 per night (subject to availability). Guests may also take advantage of 10 per cent discount at local spa, Enhance (bookings must be made direct on 01993 815815).

To make a reservation, please call the Feathers on 01993 812291 or quoting “Family Easter”.

More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
