Connecting customers are checked in and receive their boarding pass through to their final destination. For passengers who are connecting to an Air France flight at the same airport, their baggage will be checked through to their final destination. On routes between the French Overseas Departments and Metropolitan France, Air France offers a free baggage allowance of 2 baggage items weighing no more than 23kg each in Voyageur (Economy) and Alizé classes.
A travel saver card for frequent travellers
For customers who travel frequently between Saint-Denis de la Réunion, Fort-de-France, Pointe-à-Pitre, Cayenne or Saint-Martin and Metropolitan France, as well as on the routes of the Caribbean regional network, Air France offers a travel saver card giving cardholders a discount of 5 to 10% on these routes and a number of advantages such as wait-list priority or the possibility to obtain a seat at the front of the aircraft. The acquisition of a travel saver card also entitles the customer to immediate access to the Flying Blue Silver status. This travel saver card is available at the price of €350 inc. tax, excluding service charges.
