A woman passenger spent EUR 29,700 in Aeroports de Paris boutiques

A grand cru wine record sale took place in April in a Pure and Rare boutique in terminal 2E at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport. A woman passenger spent nearly EUR 30,000 in a few minutes.
Flying to Abidjan (Ivory Coast) , the woman passenger bought markedly:
- a 1986 Romanee Conti Jeroboam on sale at EUR 25,000
- a 2004 La Tâche Grand Cru
- a 2001Montrachet Grand Cru
"The sale took place rather quickly. The woman was talking on the phone. She was looking for a very special bottle of wine, spotted this item and managed to convince her contact after brief discussion", says Serge Chiron from Pure and Rare boutique.
