Air Berlin again wins World Airline AwardFriday 28, May 2010

On 20th May 2010 Air Berlin, the second largest German airline, won the "World Airline Award" for the sixth time in succession. This award is bestowed by Skytrax, the London-based consultancy company.
Other contenders for first place in the category "Best Low-Cost Airline Europe" included Easyjet and Norwegian.

The continuity with which Air Berlin is awarded prizes by Skytrax shows that our commitment to quality and service is appreciated by millions of business travellers and holidaymakers throughout the world."
The "World Airline Awards" have been conferred since 1999. In the period from July 2009 to April 2010 more than 17.9 million airline travellers from 100 countries took part in the world’s largest passenger survey.
