“We are pleased to announce this valuable transaction for Air Berlin with the newly founded company and its management with whom we enjoy a very trustful relationship. We have thus entered a new strategic partnership and are proud to have had the first joint delivery of an aircraft together with Air Lease Corporation as new Lessor” commented Ulf Hüttmeyer, CFO Air Berlin PLC.
“Air Berlin has been a successful premium low cost leader in Europe with whom we have a long relationship covering both single aisle and widebody aircraft placements. The first joint delivery to our friends at Air Berlin has further strengthened this relationship” said Steven F. Udvar-Hazy.
More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
