Air Charter Service brokers climb 3 peaks
Friday 2, July 2010
Air Charter Service is an air charter broker with a global network of 11 offices in North America, Europe, Africa, CIS, the Middle East and Asia. Four ACS brokers recently took on the 3 peaks challenge in support of Bowel Cancer UK.
The challenge was to climb the UK’s 3 highest mountains, Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Mount Snowdon in Wales, all within 24 hours. Joel Fenn, James Cristofoli, Thomas Howe and Andrew Summers completed the challenge in 21 hours 56 minutes, and the 3 raised £1,500 which was matched by ACS’s Charity Committee.
Executive Jet Sales Manager Joel Fenn said, “With 655,000 deaths worldwide per year, Bowel Cancer is the the third leading cause of cancer-related death in the Western world. We wanted to raise awareness as well as money for this cause and we would like to thank all our sponsors for helping us smash our original fundraising target.”
More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
