Air France summer schedule: capacity up 6.6 percent on routes to North America and up 13.5 percent to South America

On its North American routes, Air France is increasing capacity by 6.6 percent and is taking advantage of the joint venture with Delta Airlines as well as new route launches.

A strengthened transatlantic joint venture

The joint venture is expanding rapidly on routes to Florida this summer; Air France, which operates a daily flight to Miami, will fly to Orlando 3 times a week as from 7 June, whereas KLM will be launching its Miami route with 4 weekly services and Delta is launching a non-stop London-Miami flight.

The strength of the joint venture is also illustrated by the increase in services to Atlanta: our partner Delta's hub will be served by 4 daily flights on departure from Paris, including 2 operated by Air France, offering passengers even more connecting opportunities in North America.

Air France is also increasing capacity to the east coast, with a 3rd daily flight to Boston and a 7th to New York-JFK. These two new frequencies will be operated by Delta, which is also launching a non-stop London-Boston service.

Two new routes for Air France's A380

This summer, Air France will be offering a daily flight by A380 to Montreal (as from 22 April) and to Washington (as from 6 June). The Super Jumbo will then serve 3 destinations in North America this summer, two of which be operated by aircraft equipped with the new Premium Voyageur cabin.

Seven destinations in South America

On routes to South America, capacity will rise by 13.5%.

An additional flight to Santiago will bring the total number of weekly services to Chile to six.

Moreover, Air France is launching flights to Lima, with five weekly services starting on 21 June. With this new route, 7 destinations will be available non-stop from Paris to South America this summer!
