Air France update - Weather conditions at Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly and some European airports - 20th December 19:45
Monday 20, December 2010
Due to snowfalls and icy conditions in Paris and at some European stations, air traffic has been severely disrupted since December 17.
Air traffic remains highly disrupted today Monday December 20.
Air France operations progressively resume at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly airports. However flight delays and cancellations are still possible.
Some flights had to be diverted to other stations.
Due to these exceptional circumstances, whether your flight was cancelled delayed or scheduled to operate, you may contact your usual sales point to modify your journey:
If your flight has been cancelled or delayed by more than 5 hours and you prefer to cancel your trip and require a refund, your ticket will be fully refunded, except the service fee. Please contact your usual ticket office.
Please check your flight status before you travel to the airport. You can find live departures and arrivals information on the homepage by clicking on "Flight and destination information".
You may also:
- phone the Air France local call centre or travel agent
- if you are in France, call Air France on 3654
More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
