Airops showcases expertise at Business Airport World Exhibition
Wednesday 23, February 2011
Airops, the Farnborough, UK-based aviation software and implementation specialists, which is marking its 21st anniversary this year, will be amongst the exhibitors at the inaugural Business Airport World Expo, BAWE during 1-3 March.
Part of the Gama Group of companies since 2008, Airops will showcase operations and flight planning software AIROPS Movement-Exec (AME), and AIROPS 5 on booth 1036. These products and bespoke software systems created by Airops are already used by leading aviation companies including Airbus UK, BAE systems, Dassault Falcon Service, Signature Flight Support, Titan Airways, London Executive Aviation, and TAG Farnborough Airport.
“We’ve decided to exhibit at BAWE because it’s an excellent opportunity for us to speak to our customers while they are gathered in one place,” commented Daniel Tee, Managing Director of Airops. “The international nature of the audience, the ability to meet new clients and the networking opportunities is invaluable.”
Eyeing Olympic 2012 opportunities
TAG Farnborough Airport is home to leading private jet companies, TAG Aviation, Gama Aviation and VistaJet, and is one of the designated 2012 Olympic airports. The airport utilises AIROPS Movement-Exec to run its operations, and Airops is already in discussion with TAG, and other aviation businesses, about their requirements for the expected increase in business aviation around the Games.
At BAWE Airops will run demonstrations of its AME software designed to reduce the administrative workload involved in running an airport, handling agent or FBO. The integrated software simplifies the business process from booking to invoicing and incorporates functionality offering on-demand or account run invoicing, interfacing with third party applications such as Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Microsoft Excel and IATA compliant handling requests, along with full auditing of requested products and services.
Demonstrations of AIROPS 5 will also take place on the stand. Designed for the charter and aircraft operations management sector, AIROPS 5 offers improved efficiency and speed of response to clients. Key features include an optimised aircraft and route cost calculator, crew flight duty and certification administration, customised reporting, and graphical aircraft utilisation.
Short-listed candidates and winners of the Baltic Air Charter Association's Excellence Awards since the awards began in 2006 have all been AIROPS users.
