American Airlines flight update - 20th December
Monday 20, December 2010
Due to severe weather conditions in London and flight restrictions at Heathrow Airport, we are expecting limited flight operation from/to London Heathrow. Some UK airports may even be subject to temporary closure.
American Airlines is expecting to operate the flights listed below on 21st December 2010, although they may be subject to delays or last minute cancellations:
AA57 London Heathrow - Miami
AA51 London Heathrow – Dallas/Fort Worth
AA87 London Heathrow – Chicago (O'Hare)
AA105 London Heathrow – New York (JFK)
AA47 London Heathrow - Chicago (O'Hare)

Please note, AA has been advised by Heathrow Airport Authorities that only passengers with a confirmed seat on any of the above flights AND in possession of their travel itinerary will be permitted into the terminal building. Do not travel to the airport if your flight is not operating and you do not hold a copy of your itinerary as you may well be refused entry into the terminal.
In the case of flight delays, please arrive at the airport based on your scheduled departure time. Check-in will continue to close 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time, meaning passengers arriving after this time will not be able to fly.
AA advises passengers to continue to check the website and the status of their flight online on a regular basis and prior to travelling to the airport.
