BA Cabin crew dispute - latest information
Wednesday 23, June 2010
Unite has informed us of its decision to ballot its members again for further strike action.
The ballot will take place between 29 June and 27 July 2010. If the ballot finds in favour of industrial action, the earliest the crew could go on strike is 4 August 2010.
If there is further industrial action, we are determined to keep even more of our customers flying.
We will strengthen our contingency plans, aiming to operate 100 per cent of our longhaul schedule and a substantial proportion of our shorthaul schedule from Heathrow.
We will also operate a full schedule from Gatwick and London City.
All flights, at the moment, will continue to operate normally.
More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
