bmibaby launch more new routes

bmibaby has today announced more new routes as part of its summer 2011 flying programme.

The airline will operate services from East Midlands Airport to Verona and Ibiza, from Cardiff to Ibiza and also from Manchester to Palma.

The new flights will commence on 28 May 2011. bmibaby is the only low cost airline to operate from East Midlands Airport to Verona, and from Cardiff to Ibiza.

bmibaby will also start flying from Manchester to Palma for summer 2011. This was previously just a winter route for the airline.

East Midlands – Ibiza 28 May 2011 Thursday, Saturday and Sunday

East Midlands – Verona 28 May 2011 Wednesday and Saturday

Cardiff – Ibiza 28 May 2011 Wednesday and Saturday

Manchester - Palma 27 March 2011 Thursday and Sunday

Julian Carr, managing director, bmibaby, said: “We are pleased to announce three new routes on the bmibaby network from East Midlands and Cardiff Airport.  It is great news for the regions that we are expanding our route network.  We will also commence flying from Manchester to Palma for the summer period.

“The routes all commence on 28 May 2011 and they are sure to prove very popular.  Verona is a beautiful city and is the gateway to northern Italy and the stunning Lake Garda.  As well as the ultimate party island, Ibiza is great for families, with miles of golden beaches and breath-taking architecture in the old town.”

“bmibaby will now operate a network of 59 routes from East Midlands, Manchester, Birmingham and Cardiff Airport.  We are committed to offering our customers low fares to a great range of destinations from their local airport.”
