British Airways - Flight disruption due to weather – 20th December

Severe weather continues to cause significant disruption to BA operations. Please do not travel to the airport unless your flight is operating.

Check the status of your flight

You can also check your flight status on your mobile phone by visiting ba2go.com.

If you are due to travel from Heathrow between now and 24 December, please consider whether your travel is essential. If you do not need to travel you can cancel your flight, and get a full refund, or change your flight to another date in the next 355 days.

LONDON GATWICK and LONDON CITY

BA expect to operate the vast majority of our flights into and out of London Gatwick and London City, although some flights may be subject to delays.

LONDON  HEATHROW

If you are due to travel today BA have now updated their schedule:

ALL shorthaul flights after 12pm midday have been cancelled.

Please do not come to the airport unless you have a confirmed booking on a flight that is operating today.

What to do if your flight has been cancelled?

If you are affected by the cancellations you can choose to rebook on an alternative flight or you can claim a full refund on ba.com

BA are experiencing extremely high call volumes and visits to their website so you may experience a delay in contacting them or changing your booking online. Please do not go to the airport or contact BA by email to make changes to your booking.

Rebooking options and how to make changes to your booking

Customers travelling to or from London Heathrow up to 24th December and who do not wish to travel may:

- Rebook to the same destination

- Refund the ticket to the original form of payment

- You may be able to make these changes yourself on Manage My Booking.
