Wednesday 11, August 2010

British Airways mobile boarding pass

The days of pockets full of paper are nearly over. The mobile boarding pass allows you to keep all your travel information in one place, while respecting the environment.

The mobile boarding pass is currently available for the iPhone and will be introduced for BlackBerry and Android soon.

How can you download the mobile boarding pass?

  1. Open the iPhone app and log in to your Executive Club account. Your next flight will be shown on the home screen.
  2. If you cannot see your next flight, tap View all my bookings. Then tap Refresh bookings to get your upcoming flights onto the iPhone.
  3. When check-in opens for your next flight, tap on the Check in/Get boarding pass button.
  4. If you have not checked in, you will be prompted to do so now. When you have checked in for your flight, the boarding pass will be downloaded to your iPhone. You can now access your boarding pass at any time by tapping the Show boarding pass on the home screen.
  5. If you have already checked in, and mobile boarding passes are available for your destination, the boarding pass will be downloaded to your iPhone. You can now access your boarding pass at any time by tapping Show boarding pass on the home screen

You can also access your current and past boarding passes in the My Flights section under My boarding passes.
