"Apple of Paradise": Sanssouci Park, 18th April 2014 to 31st October 2014
The gardens of Prussian kings are unique garden designs, which occupy an exceptional place in the cultural landscapes of Potsdam and Berlin. They are created dreamscapes, romantic islands of love, perfect theatre sceneries, but also occultist sites, expressions of monarchical claims and testimonies of royal preferences and sentimental impulses. With the help of landscapes gardeners, each monarch has left behind their personal tale, independent of the prevailing tastes of the times.
In 2014, an extensive exhibition and special event program will take place at Sanssouci Park in Potsdam.
