Celebrity Cruises to significantly expand "Solsticizing" on Celebrity Infinity Solstice
Thursday 18, November 2010
Celebrity Cruises coined the word "Solsticized" earlier this year, and brought its meaning to life for guests who set sail on Celebrity Constellation following an ambitious 15-day revitalization in April.
During that time, Celebrity complemented the ship's already award-winning style and design with some of the most popular venues on the line's widely-heralded Solstice Class ships, including:
Celebrity announced plans to add all these features on Celebrity Infinity, in addition to its industry-first, spa-inspired "AquaClass" accommodations and the Mediterranean-themed "Blu" specialty restaurant, when the ship becomes the second in the Millennium Class fleet to be "Solsticized."
"Everything we've introduced on our award-winning Solstice Class fleet, and everything we're adding to our popular Millennium Class ships, is inspired by extensive research into what is most important to guests on vacation," said Celebrity's President & CEO Dan Hanrahan. "All of our new venues and attributes - paired with the spectacular service of our highly dedicated crew - are designed to enhance that all-important feeling of getting away and fully enjoying every aspect of Celebrity's upscale onboard experience." After emerging from scheduled drydock December 3, 2011, in addition to all the new venues and features introduced this year on Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Infinity also will present:
Celebrity currently plans to similarly refurbish Celebrity Summit in January 2012, followed by Celebrity Millennium in April 2012. Bookings for the newly refurbished Celebrity Infinity open Monday, November 22, 2010.
