Choice Hotels recognises Quality Hotel Edinburgh Airport and Comfort Hotel Enfield as best in UK

Choice Hotels International, the global hotel group behind the Comfort, Quality, Sleep Inn and Clarion brands and one of the largest and most successful lodging franchisors in the world, announced that it has awarded Quality Hotel Edinburgh Airport its UK Quality Hotel of the Year, and Comfort Hotel Enfield as the UK Comfort Hotel of the Year.
The two hotels were judged to be the best out of the Quality and Comfort hotels operating throughout the UK and beat other short-listed properties in Great Yarmouth, Dudley and London.
The winners were selected by reviewing each property's guest satisfaction and cleanliness scores and by demonstrating consistent brand performance. The Quality Hotel Edinburgh Airport was also recognised last year as the 2008 European Quality Hotel of the Year.

Earlier this month the company also recognised the Quality Hotel™ Berlin Tegel, Germany, as its International Quality Hotel of the Year and the Clarion Hotel™ Sign, Stockholm, Sweden, as its International Clarion Hotel of the Year.
Berry added: “I’m delighted that Europe is home to the two hotel properties that have been judged to be the best Quality and the best Clarion hotels in all markets outside the US.”
Choice Hotels Europe’s portfolio of franchised hotels offers business and leisure travellers a full spectrum from premium economy to luxury hotels and franchises nearly 500 hotels across Europe alone. Choice-branded hotels to open recently in the UK include the Quality Hotel Maitrise Maida Vale, London, the Quality Hotel Reading, the Quality Hotel Crewe Arms and the Quality Hotel Birmingham Airport / NEC.
