175-Room Hotel is Courtyard’s Second in Switzerland. Courtyard by Marriott has opened the Courtyard Basel under a franchise agreement with the SV (Switzerland) Group.
Located just 5 miles from the EuroAirport Basel, with easy access to Basel’s city center, the Courtyard Basel is conveniently located for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel offers direct access to aquabasilea water park, which features 13,000 square meters of swimming pools, steam rooms, sauna and spa facilities.
Opening rates begin from 209 CHF (USD $195) per night.
The Courtyard by Marriott brand features hotels with a refreshing environment that helps guests stay connected, productive and balanced. Intuitive services and design accommodate guests’ desire for choice and control and allow them to use the public space and guest rooms to meet all of their needs while on the road. With more than 860 locations in 30 countries, Courtyard is Marriott’s largest brand; 200 additional Courtyard by Marriott hotels will open around the world over the next three years.

The Courtyard Basel features a modern and open lobby space designed by Harry Asbeck, giving guests the space and functionality to both work and socialize with flexible seating options. For meetings and events, the hotel offers 6 meeting rooms with a total of 415 square meters of meeting space.
Guestrooms are stylish and comfortable featuring large well-lit work desks, ergonomic chairs, flat screen televisions and coffee makers. For recreation, the hotel offers guests access to an on-site fitness center.
For dining and relaxing the Courtyard Basel features max-restaurant, bar and lounge. The outdoor terrace is ideal for afterwork drinks and snacks. In addition, the hotel’s 24/7 market is open around the clock and offers hot and cold drinks, fresh salads, sandwiches and snacks.
