Courtyard by Marriott Sponsors Launch of USA TODAY App for Apple’s New iPadFriday 2, April 2010

After much anticipation, Apple’s new iPad will be released to the public tomorrow, April 3, and we’re excited to announce that Courtyard by Marriott has teamed up with USA TODAY to sponsor their iPad App that will also be available tomorrow on the App Store or iPad or www.itunes.com/appstore.
The App will provide users with USA TODAY content in a convenient, interactive package on the iPad with the newspaper’s signature look and eye-catching graphics. Courtyard is providing users free access to the App for the first 90 days it is available. After July 4, 2010 the App will be available via a fee-based subscription.
Sponsoring this App was a perfect fit for Courtyard since so many of the brand’s guests are tech-savvy. In fact, the new Refreshing Business lobby concept that is currently being rolled out was designed to meet the needs of these travelers. Features of the new Courtyard lobby include free WiFi and ample electrical outlets to power or recharge the iPad, as well as flexible seating options that allow guests the option to work or socialize in groups or get some work done on their own.
