Cozy up in Lufthansa’s new full-flat business class seats
Thursday 1, January 1970
Shoulder-to-shoulder discomfort on flights can now be left aground with new seats on Lufthansa’s Business Class offering – literally – a flat-out cozy experience.
With just the push of a button, these ultra-modern seats elegantly ease into fully-flat, horizontal “beds” – while you’re still seated comfortably.
Get more space and privacy than ever too! The seats – 1.98-metres long when fully extended – are mounted in pairs and turned away from each other in a special V-formation. This gives you virtually double the distance away from your neighbours at shoulder level.
For window seat passengers, these seats are a dream come true. The space between your row and the one in front is so generous, you will have no problems getting in or out – even if your neighbour’s seat is fully extended!
Whether sitting or lying down, you will be facing the direction of travel. This is a wish that passengers had revealed in an extensive research process, and once again, Lufthansa has given customers what they desire.
Other features include ergonomically improved cushioning for maximum comfort, adjustable armrests that give the shoulder area more room when lying down, and a fixed ottoman that can be used either as a footrest or to prolong the bed.
The innovations do not end there. Five-centimetre deep indentations into the inner wall of the seat’s central console also reward you with more space! This is along with the cabin contour on the main deck giving sufficient headroom for all.
The seats are also user-friendly. Remote controls within easy reach allow you to choose between multiple seat settings and multimedia programmes on Lufthansa’s adjustable 15-inch personal screens.
With Lufthansa, luxury is always served – just sit back.
