Directline holidays wins fast track entrepreneurship award at Richard Branson hosted eventThursday 20, May 2010

The owners and directors of Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest-growing sales were recognised last week at the 13th annual Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 awards event, at Sir Richard Branson’s home in Oxfordshire.
At this event online travel agent, Directline holidays, picked up the Fast Track 100 business productivity award, sponsored by Microsoft Office 2010.
This award was presented by Jacob Jaffe, head of Microsoft’s information worker business group, to founder Antony Bradley and chief executive Maria Whiteman of Directline Holidays in recognition of the company’s smart use of software.
Maria Whiteman commented “I am absolutely delighted that our productivity in this field has been acknowledged. The management team has worked really hard this year to enhance and develop our technology and to improve internal processes. Winning this prestigious award is great recognition of our continued commitment to develop innovative product and drive sales.”
