Easyjet Flights 17 Apr - Cancelled and Operating
Saturday 17, April 2010
Due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland, UK Air Traffic Control (NATS) has now said restrictions would remain until at least 1300 BST on Saturday. However, the movement of the ash cloud, which could damage plane engines, may allow some limited flights in northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The disruption is expected to continue, and we are unable to say when operations will resume as normal given the uncertainty of this situation. A number of northern and western European countries are also affected. Volcanic ash can cause a significant safety risk. The suspension of operations could last for an extended period. Please keep checking the website for updates or information on any booked flights.

More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
