For the second consecutive year, Abu Dhabi will host the FIFA Club World Cup UAE 2010. Emirates Airline has teamed up with hotels in Dubai to make it easy to explore the two dynamic cities and attend the highly-anticipated matches this year.
Participating in the tournament, scheduled for 8-18 December 2010, are club champions from six continents, as well as the UAE domestic league champions.
“The world’s best football players are coming to Abu Dhabi next month. We have created some attractively priced packages, designed to make it easy to enjoy all that Dubai and Abu Dhabi have to offer,” said Russell Sheldon, Senior Vice President Network Passenger Sales Development, Emirates Airline.
“With accommodations in Dubai and the matches taking place in Abu Dhabi, visitors will have a chance to explore these two stunning destinations. Onward bound passengers can also stopover in Dubai to see the matches, with no extra charge for the stopover,” he added.
This year’s FIFA Club World Cup will take place at Abu Dhabi’s largest world-class stadia, Zayed Sports City and Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium. Abu Dhabi is easily reached from Dubai via car in around one to one and a half hours.
Packages can be purchased through travel agents and Emirates offices worldwide, and include a choice of hotels, airport transfers, buffet breakfast, transport to and from the games, as well as one Category 1 reserved seat match ticket. Additional match tickets can be purchased. Participating hotels in Dubai are Ibis Al Barsha, Highland City Hotel, Novotel World Trade Centre, Qamardeen Hotel, Pullman Mall of the Emirates, Grand Millennium Dubai, The Address (Dubai Marina), Pearl Residence Hotel Apartments and Lotus Downtown Metro Hotel Apartments.
All passengers, regardless of airfare or class of travel, can purchase the packages. All taxes and service charges are included in the prices.

More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
