Epoque Hotels Announces Hotel St. Regis: The Best Place to Stay in the World, selected by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler
Wednesday 31, March 2010
Once again, the Hotel San Régis, a member of the Epoque Hotels collection, is proud to be present in the famous Condé Nast Traveler's annual Gold List. With an overall score of 89.4, the boutique hotel San Regis improved over last year and is only outranked in Paris by four other hotels.
The Gold List proposes to reveal a property's character rather than to list its facilities. Each score stands for the percentage of responders who rated a property excellent or very good on precise criteria such as Room, Service, Food, Location, Design. To be eligible for inclusion in these rankings, a hotel had to receive a requisite minimum number of responses.
With an unequaled position in the heart of the 8th arrondissement, a tasteful and chic atmosphere and a highly professional and friendly service, the boutique hotel San Régis in Paris managed to earn the loyalty of many regular travelers. Epoque Hotels and Hotel San Régis would like to warmly thank each of the responders who took the time to fill Condé Nast Traveler's survey.
About the Hotel
Converted from a prestigious private mansion nearly 90 years ago, the hotel San Régis is a peaceful haven of luxury and comfort enjoying an outstanding location near the Champs-Elysées in Paris. The stunning view over the Eiffel Tower and the spectacular Grand Palais glass roof from the Deluxe Junior Suites' terraces, provides the feeling that Paris belongs to you when staying at the San Régis! Each room and suite is individually designed and the fine fabrics match the lush patinas of the period furniture, the works of art and the beautiful Italian marbles.
The discreet and competent service, as well as the exclusive design, make the boutique hotel San Régis one of the finest addresses in Paris.
As the Vancouver Olympic Winter Games draw to a close, London 2012 organisers have been taking advantage of the final opportunity to experience and learn from an Olympic Games, before London becomes the next Olympic Host City.
As the 21st Winter Olympic Games wind down in Vancouver, my thoughts naturally turn to the 22nd Winter Olympic Games scheduled for February 7 through 23, 2014, in Sochi, Russia. 2014 will mark the first time that Russia will host the Winter Games – Moscow hosted the Summer Games in 1980.
Even in these difficult economic times, companies are still seeing value in business aviation and are looking to increase business jet travel in 2010.
