Wednesday 10, November 2010
Seats on exit rows in Economy Class on Finnair-operated intercontinental flights can be reserved in advance online for flights departing November 8, 2010 and thereafter.
The exit seats will be available for scheduled Finnair flights to and from Bangkok, Beijing, Delhi, Hong Kong, Nagoya, New York, Osaka, Shanghai, Seoul, Singapore and Tokyo. Exit seats can be reserved online at www.finnair.com/managemybooking, for a fee of 60 euros. Finnair Plus Platinum members can still reserve exit row seats for free at the time of flight reservation.
The exit row seats with extra legroom are available to passengers who meet the exit row safety requirements. Passengers seated at the exit row have to confirm that they are over 12 years old, speak and understand English or Finnish, are able-bodied, not pregnant and not travelling with an infant.
More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
