The inbound flight departs Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta Airport at 9.45am to arrive in Bangkok at 1.10pm. Effective 17 June, the new outbound flight will depart Bangkok at 5.10pm and arrive in Jakarta at 8.35pm. The inbound service will depart at 12.50pm, arriving in Bangkok at 4.15pm.
“We’ve seen a continued surge in demand since the introduction of our daily service over a year ago, due to our convenient flight timings and network that allows passengers to make easy connections to other regional cities from Jakarta,” said Bambang Sunan, General Manager for Thailand, Myanmar, Laos & Cambodia, Garuda Indonesia.
“Passenger travel to Jakarta continues to grow and with the additional flight, we will have the ability to better meet our customers’ needs,” added Sunan.
Passengers will also have the opportunity to enjoy the airline’s unique service concept known as the ‘Garuda Indonesia Experience’, which combines warm Indonesian hospitality with quality service that emphasizes on safety and comfort.
To celebrate the introduction of this additional service, Garuda Indonesia will be running a sale starting from today. Customers can take advantage of the attractive fares to plan vacations for the upcoming holidays. Destinations on offer include Jakarta as well as popular Indonesian cities such as Bali, Jogjakarta and Surabaya. Promotional fares range from THB8,000 to THB9,500, valid for travel from 17 June – 30 September.
The fares are available for purchase from the Garuda Indonesia sales office, appointed agents or online at http://www.garuda-indonesia.com/. Terms and conditions apply.
More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
