Gatwick Airport is currently experiencing heavy snowfall and there will be no flight departures until 06:00 Tuesday 21st December.
Gatwick airport staff is working hard to clear the runway but the airport is currently closed and all arriving flights being diverted to alternative airports.
As soon as the snow subsides and the runway is safe to use Gatwick airport may resume inbound and outbound flights.
