Gatwick airport is closed again - 20th December, 21:00

Gatwick Airport is currently experiencing heavy snowfall and there will be no flight departures until 06:00 Tuesday 21st December.
Gatwick airport staff is working hard to clear the runway but the airport is currently closed and all arriving flights being diverted to alternative airports.
As soon as the snow subsides and the runway is safe to use Gatwick airport may resume inbound and outbound flights.
The best advice to passengers remains the same - please check your airline's website to confirm the status of your flight.

Flight schedules for tomorrow are unpredictable due to changing weather conditions. Knock-on delays and cancellations are likely throughout the day due to the ongoing impact of snow across Northern Europe.
