Gtahotels.com rebranded as DHR.com

Discount travel site Gtahotels.com has rebranded itself, changing the same to dhr.com (Discount Hotel Reservations).
As part of the rebranding process, the company unveiled its new mascot, a ladybird (ladybug).
The reasoning behind the rebranding is to provide visitors with a more complete online experience.
“There have been and still are many companies trading with similar trade names to GTA but with the global services that we offer and in particular our discounted hotel rates, we felt that the name DHR Discounted Hotel Reservations spells out our main distinctive feature in 3 short letters,” said a spokesperson from the company.
DHR.com will continue to provide discounted rates on resorts, hotels, tours and other travel activities.
Visitors to the site can expect a “Pay at Hotel” option, TripAdvisor hotel reviews, the option to book a hotel transfer as well as city guides and useful travel tips. The company is also working on other new initiatives including a customer loyalty programme, sorting of hotels by options such as business, luxury, spa etc. and dynamic packages.
DHR has also chosen to retain several features, including a dedicated 24/7 customer service team, the option to pay in advance, group bookings and regular special offers.
More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
The hotel price comparison site www.trivago.co.uk has put together a list of the fifteen most spectacular hotel rooftop terraces in the world.
