Information for Iberia customers affected by Mexicana de Aviación' crisis

Due to the suspension of Mexicana de Aviación flights, as well as those of its affiliate airlines, Mexicana Click and Mexicana Link, Iberia informs that is taking all possible measures to attend those of its passengers who have a leg with the suspended airlines in their flight itinerary.
Among others, Iberia will try to reroute those passengers in other airlines’ flights and will relax its fare conditions to allow flight date changes or destinations and reimbursements.

Iberia will try to reroute passengers with an Iberia ticket (IB075 form), who were flying to any domestic destination from Mexico D.F. with any of the Mexicana group airlines on to other carriers’ flights, in order to reduce the inconveniences caused to them
Passengers with Mexicana tickets
Mexicana tickets are no valid for flying with Iberia, in any circumstance. Nevertheless, and in order to help stranded people return to their homes, Iberia has created a special fare of 470 euros –or 599 dolars- to flight between Madrid and Mexico DF, or viceversa. These fares will only be available at Iberia offices at the airports or Madrid or Mexico DF, in the last 24 hours before the flight, if there are seats left.
