News Receives Royal Seal of Approval

Thursday 25, March 2010 Receives Royal Seal of Approval

Local leading friendly low fare airline,, has been given the royal seal of approval after Prince William joined a special charter flight from Switzerland to Heathrow this weekend.

The heir to the throne joins a whole host of celebrities and top sport stars, not to mention a pride of Romanian lions, which have flown with the leading low fare airline over the years.

Prince William was one of 176 passengers on the two-hour flight from Geneva to London after a skiing holiday with girlfriend Kate Middleton.

Also benefiting from’s leading customer service this weekend was boxing legend Mike Tyson and Formula One supremo, Damon Hill.

Philip Meeson, boss of, said: “Over the years we have had the privilege of flying some extremely high profile passengers – from celebrities to sports stars – but this is the first royal that we have had on board. I am confident that Prince William will have been impressed with our fantastic customer service, comfort and punctuality and we look forward to welcoming him on-board again in the future. Who knows, we may soon be his preferred airline of choice and displaying a royal crest on our fleet!

Mike Tyson and Damon Hill are also great additions to our hall of fame – it seems that we are fast becoming the stars’ favourite airline!

London 2012 makes most of learning opportunities in Vancouver 2010

As the Vancouver Olympic Winter Games draw to a close, London 2012 organisers have been taking advantage of the final opportunity to experience and learn from an Olympic Games, before London becomes the next Olympic Host City.

Next Winter Olympic Games: Sochi, Russia

As the 21st Winter Olympic Games wind down in Vancouver, my thoughts naturally turn to the 22nd Winter Olympic Games scheduled for February 7 through 23, 2014, in Sochi, Russia. 2014 will mark the first time that Russia will host the Winter Games – Moscow hosted the Summer Games in 1980.
