KLM and Malaysia Airlines sign memorandum of understanding
Wednesday 5, January 2011
KLM and Malaysia Airlines will further strengthen the excellent collaboration they experienced over the past 11 years. The aim is to offer greater connectivity, better schedules and more choice for their passengers.
The MoU was signed by Chief Executive Officer Peter Hartman from KLM and Malaysia Airlines Managing Director/CEO, Tengku Dato’ Sri Azmil Zahruddin.
Peter Hartman: “This MoU will strengthen the connection between the two hubs: Amsterdam and Kuala Lumpur. This partnership is an ideal opportunity to expand the number of Australasian destinations we offer our customers. Malaysia Airlines enjoys a deserved reputation for consistent and high quality service, both on the ground and in the air, and so is a natural partner for KLM.”
KLM operate its flights daily to Kuala Lumpur using Boeing 777-200 and Boeing 777-300 aircraft.
