Lillehammer – the former host of the XVII Olympic Winter Games in 1994 – is situated 145 km (approx 2 hours) from Oslo Airport Gardermoen. It is considered to be the oldest winter resort in Norway, and is often the base for national and international Company Games and Events.

Hunderfossen Winter Park and Ice Hotel are located a mere 5 minutes from Hafjell and 15 minutes from Lillehammer town centre. Winner of the 2007 award for Scandinavia’s most innovative tourism idea.
Hunderfossen Ice Hotel.
Open from 30th of December to 6th of March. Visit Scandinavia’s southernmost ice hotel – a truly unique experience! The hotel is located by the Fairytale Castle, in the very heart of Hunderfossen Winter Park. A spectacular building in snow and ice, with enchantingly illuminated ice and snow sculptures, unique rooms and a separate ice bar. An impressive Ice Cathedral for weddings and functions is also available. Access to the Ice Cathedral and Ice Hotel is included in the Winter Park entrance fee. Completion date for the Ice Cathedral and Ice Hotel: 10th of January. A well-informed guide will show you the major attractions in the Winter Park, such as the Ice Hotel, the Ice Cathedral and Ivo Caprino’s Fairytale Grotto. New for the year are Trollfallet – and you get to try to save the Princess in the Tower. The guided tour ends with snow rafting.
Lilleputthammer is an adventure park built as a 1:4 scale miniature model of Storgata, Lillehammer’s main street, as it was in the early 1900s. During the winter months, Lilleputthammer can offer ice skating with music, fun days in the Children’s Book City as well as autumn break, pre-Christmas, winter break and Easter holiday activities. Here you can enjoy art workshops, cook breadsticks over an open fire, miniski fun and make Christmas cards, Easter eggs and lots more.
BOB & LUGE TRACK HUNDERFOSSEN
The Bob- and lugetrack in Hunderfossen near Lillehammer, Norway is a very popular activity during the winter season. It holds 4 passengers in addition to an authorized pilot, and reaches speeds up to 100 km/hr. Age limit: 10 and 11 years when accompanied by an adult; 12 years when riding alone.
SKELETON
Skeleton is a type of sledge where you lie on your stomach head first, and can reach speeds up to 70 km/hr with your nose about 1cm from the surface of the ice. This ride is guaranteed to give you an adrenalin rush! Skeleton events may be organized for smaller groups. Age limit: 16 years.
TOBBOGANING
Although tobogganing has not yet become an Olympic event, it is one of Lillehammer’s most popular winter activities. The tobogganing can be attached directly on a tow bar that pulls you on the toboggan to the top of the hill. Everyone is equipped with a helmet and goggles, and you control the speed yourself by applying the brakes on the toboggan as needed. It takes only a few runs before you are racing at full speed down course, laughing all the way.
Huge area with a lot of possibilities for climbing and rappelling. With different tracks and levels, this attraction is perfect for both groups and individuals of all ages. With helmets and other security equipment you can safely pass bridges and other challenges in the air. Special rules apply for hight and age.
Green track

Warm up- and training track in 2 metres height. 6 easy obstacles
which takes you from tree to tree. This is a foretaste of the challenges
hich you may expect in the more demanding tracks, like the blue, red and black.
Compulsory. Min 10 years and 140 cm.
Blue track

More demanding track in 3-5 metres height with 11 obstacles.
Some find it quite scary to crawl through the barrels…
 Min 10 years and 140 cm.
Red track

Starts at 7 metres height, and from here through more
than 20 obstacles. This demands a lot of concentration
when you pass through the swinging bridges. Ends in an
80 metres long ride in the air above the rafting area. 
Min 12 years and 150 cm.
Black track

For the tough ones! This track is placed 14 metres
above the churning waters of the rafting area.
More than 20 obstacles. Min 15 years and 160 cm.
