The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) has launched its official online shop.
The website at www.london2012.com/shop launched initially with approximately 250 lines of product including clothing, collectables and pin badges.
By summer 2010 there will be 500 lines of product and the shop will eventually grow to sell thousands of London 2012, Team GB and Paralympics GB products in the coming months and years.
LOCOG Chair Seb Coe commented: 'People love to collect Olympic or Paralympic souvenirs, it's a key part of the Games-time experience. Over the next two years or so more and more product will be available both on our online shop and at other outlets, helping people to celebrate the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games coming to the UK.'
More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
The hotel price comparison site www.trivago.co.uk has put together a list of the fifteen most spectacular hotel rooftop terraces in the world.
