Malév passengers to enjoy the largest and most elegant lounge at SkyCourt
Thursday 9, December 2010
Malév will provide its customers with the most attractive and largest business lounge in the SkyCourt terminal at Ferihegy International Airport from 28 March 2011. The new terminal is being realized by Budapest Airport Zrt. as part of its major airport development project.
Malév is setting up its lounge, which is more advanced and far larger than the current facilities, on an area exceeding 250 m². Considerable attention is also being devoted to ensuring coordinated and elegant furnishings. As a result of this investment, frequent flyers of the airline and the oneworld airline alliance will be able to use the most comfortable and best equipped lounge at the airport. Up to 75 passengers will be able to wait for the departure of their flights in the lounge – located on the gallery floor of the terminal – enjoying the high level of comfort and high standard services available. The airline will provide its guests with a wide range of hot and cold refreshments, wines and spirits, sweet and savoury snacks. Furthermore, business travellers can use the new lounge’s computers, fax and photocopier machine, Internet access, mobile telephone charging points, and a broad selection of local and international newspapers and journals.
The lounge is open to all business passengers of the airline, Malév Duna Club Platinum, Gold and Silver Card frequent flyers, as well as Emerald and Sapphire tier regular travellers of oneworld member airlines, on condition that they are flying with Malév.
The airline will publish the name and design sketches of the new Malév business lounge on its website and on Facebook shortly.
More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
