The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) has launched an integrated campaign to ensure that Mauritius is at the forefront of consumers’ minds when booking their winter sun holiday for 2010/11.
The campaign portal www.mauritiuspromos.co.uk works alongside the Mauritius website in delivering information about the destination to the consumer as well as operating as a booking portal.
The microsite information highlights the key pillars for choosing your ideal tropical holiday to Mauritius including; Romance, Family, Spa & Wellbeing, Adventure and Luxury.
Consumers can directly book holidays with partners Virgin Holidays, Beachcomber Tours, Destinology.com, BA.com, and Hayes & Jarvis.
Components of the marketing campaign include email marketing, online banners, e-newsletters and social media marketing, as well as a dedicated microsite.

More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
The hotel price comparison site www.trivago.co.uk has put together a list of the fifteen most spectacular hotel rooftop terraces in the world.
