Monarch flight cancellations - 20 Apr

The volcanic ash cloud drifting over the UK has resulted in the ongoing closure of UK airspace and forced the cancellation and suspension of all Monarch flights departing the UK before 13.00 on Wednesday 21 April.

Flights operating after 13.00 are currently suspended and a further update will be provided by 09.00 on Wednesday 21 April .

Passengers booked to travel on suspended Monarch charter flights (MON flight numbers) are advised to contact their Tour Operator.

Customers wishing to change the date of their scheduled flight (ZB flight numbers) (if departing in at least four hours time) can do so online by visiting the Manage Flight Bookings area of Monarch.co.uk and selecting the "change a flight" option. Any fees or fare difference incurred for the date change can then be claimed back by contacting Monarch at a later date via phone, email or post. If you have a flight due to depart in less than 4 hours time or the date/time of the flight has already passed, you willnot be able to make changes online and will need to email or call us to arrange to be re-booked onto another flight.

Note - online date changes are only available for scheduled flight customers who booked their flight directly with Monarch.

You can email us your re-booking or refund requests - just click here and fill out ouremail contact form, selecting the enquiry type of "FLIGHT CANCELLATIONS due to volcanic ash" and select whether you are requesting a refund or a re-booking. Please ensure you enter your booking reference number so that we can respond to your rebook / refund request as promptly as possible.
