World records for EU-funded fuel cell-powered aircraft
A hydrogen fuel cell-powered aircraft developed by the 'ENFICA-FC' project has completed a number of successful test flights out of Reggio Emilia airport in Italy, establishing new speed and endurance records for electrically powered class C aeroplanes.

SkyTeam offers lower fares with round the world promotion
To celebrate its 10 year anniversary in 2010, the SkyTeam airline alliance is currently offering customers a special promotion using the Round the World fare pass with reductions between 5% and 30%. Bookings can be made until 30 September 2010 and travel should be completed before 30 June 2011.

Air France added 246 seats to Johannesburg
In order to meet the demand for air tickets from Spanish and Dutch football supporters, Air France has scheduled an additional flight between Paris and Johannesburg on Saturday 10 July 2010. The flights will be operated by a Boeing 777-200 equipped with 246 seats.

Ryanair launches Leeds Bradford winter schedule with 13 routes
Ryanair yesterday (6th July) launched its Leeds Bradford winter schedule which will operate on two aircraft with 13 routes, including new routes to/from Barcelona, Dusseldorf (Weeze), Gdansk and Fuerteventura which will see Ryanair’s traffic at Leeds Bradford grow to 1m passengers p.a. and sustain up to 1,000 jobs at in the Yorkshire region.
