British Airways - To Russia with Love

The environmental award for pioneering innovations promoting sustainable mobility was conferred on airberlin for its corporate programme for "Eco-efficient Flying. The award was presented in Karlsruhe by the insurance group DEVK and the ÖkoGlobe Institute.

KLM Introduces A La Carte Meals
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines offers Economy Class passengers the option of ordering à la carte meals on intercontinental flights originating in Amsterdam. This is an additional service alongside KLM’s standard catering. Four different à la carte meals are available for a fee on flights from 14 September 2011.

Finnair and Belavia sign a codeshare agreement
Finnair and Belavia, the national airline company of Belarusia, have signed a codeshare agreement. The co-operation covers the flights between Helsinki and Minsk as of August 15.

London Oxford Airport embraces updated Pet Travel Scheme
From 01 January 2012, it will become cheaper and easier to travel abroad with pets when new rules are introduced. The UK will harmonise its pet movement rules with the rest of the EU, bringing the UK’s Pet Travel Scheme (PETS) into line with the most recent European-wide pet importation regulations.
