ExecuJet supports WEF – reports busiest time of year
The ExecuJet Aviation Group once again reported an exceptionally busy period during 26-30th January supporting visiting jets whose passengers were headed for the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting at Davos, Switzerland. The company handled 330 movements during the event with a high majority being Global Express and Gulfstream aircraft.

London Oxford Airport welcomes new summer flights to Palma, Mallorca
London Oxford Airport is preparing to welcome new, direct weekly holiday flights to the popular Balearic Island of Mallorca from mid-June through to the end of September. Services will be operated every Saturday morning by Eastern Airways, the 13-year old award-winning regional airline, using quiet and fuel efficient Saab 2000 50-seat aircraft.

Aviation regulator issues guidance on sky lantern releases
The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued guidance on the release of sky lanterns in UK airspace. The growing popularity of releasing large number of sky lanterns at private or commercial events creates a potential hazard for aviation, in much the same way as mass balloon releases and firework displays.

Ryanair adds 11 new Marseille summer routes
Ryanair has announced an extended summer season operation at Marseille which will see up to two aircraft temporarily overnight at the airport for just over a four month period (14th April until 4th Sept) offering 24 routes and delivering 500,000 passengers at Marseille’s MP2 terminal this summer.
