Papal visit details announced
Lord Patten of Barnes, the Prime Minister’s Special Representative for the Papal visit, and the Archbishop of Westminster Vincent Nichols, Head of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, have announced further details of Pope Benedict XVI's visit.

London Olympic Stadium's 2012th seat fitted by IOC President
The 2012th seat was today fitted in the Olympic Stadium by IOC President Jacques Rogge, London 2012 Organising Committee Chair Sebastian Coe and Olympic Delivery Authority Chief Executive David Higgins, and was witnessed by eight of the ‘Young Ambassadors’ who travelled to Singapore as part of London’s winning bid.

Virgin Trains choo the rescue
A Virgin Trains driver became a hero last weekend after coming to the rescue for three local Liverpool lads. Aaron Purcell, Daniel Grannon and Chris Thelwall arrived in London on Friday to kick-start a Wimbledon packed weekend but soon realised they were missing something…their tickets.
