Heathrow serenades fans on the 'Great Escape' to South Africa
Thousands of dedicated football followers have begun pouring through Heathrow on their way to support England in South Africa. Fans leaving today enjoyed music by the England Supporters Band, and follow in the steps of the team themselves who left from Heathrow last week.

London Midland’s trains sparkle thanks to pioneering liquid glass technology
London Midland is using pioneering liquid glass technology to help its trains sparkle, while protecting the environment. A thin coating of liquid glass – 500 times thinner than a human hair – is being applied to trains at London Midland’s Tyseley depot in Birmingham to produce surfaces that are easier to clean and highly durable.

UK Government needs to recognise the importance of tourism to the world economy
In Westminster on 4th June, Dermot Blastland, Managing Director of TUI UK & Ireland called on the Government for the need to recognise the importance of tourism and how it can alleviate poverty around the world. He also called for the Government to support the travel industry and help it develop.
