Over 12 million British nationals are planning to visit friends and family abroad this year1 but new research published today by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office shows that young people are more likely to buy a present for their host than take out a travel insurance policy.

Business Opportunities to increase at EIBTM 2011 Research confirms Hosted Buyer appointments could head for 10 percent increase on 2010
Research following the success of EIBTM 2010 (www.eibtm.com) has shown that both buyers and suppliers want the organisers Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE) to find ways of achieving even more opportunities to do business during the event. 65 percent of Hosted Buyers did or will do between €50,000 and €1m of business as a result of their attendance at EIBTM according to the research.
