Promoting destination Portugal has reached a new technological platform
Thursday 5, August 2010
TAP’S in-flight magazine UP – Dare to dream higher, launches a specific version for the IPAD, Apple’s most recent technological novelty, in August, where the central theme is the Algarve.
Under this initiative UP is the first Portuguese publication to enable an iPAD format.
UP is the greatest means for promoting destination Portugal worldwide. The printed version of the magazine, which is bilingual, is viewed by more than one million people every month and the internet site at http://www.upmagazine-tap.com has hundreds of views per day.
The iPad allows access to multiple applications and publications in a way that is as portable as possible. Since its worldwide release on 3 April, Apple’s tablet PC has sold over 3.3 million units the world over.
The magazine version for the iPpad, UP – Dare to dream higher, was designed by +2designers, the graphic design company responsible for the paper version of the magazine.
