Rock legends turn up the heat on Tenerife holidays this July
Friday 18, June 2010
Tenerife holidays have always promised a variety of entertainment. Want proof? Check out these recently-announced performances by The Beach Boys and Simply Red.
Tenerife holidays are typically about three things: sun, surf, and enjoying a margarita on the shoreline. But now July is hotting up with the announcement that two legendary bands will be dropping by the vibrant Spanish island to perform.
Following on from the recent successful concerts of Elton John and Rod Stewart, Californian legends The Beach Boys and Mancunian crooner Mick Hucknall and his band Simply Red will both be visiting Tenerife this July.
Luke Nathan, director of low cost holiday site Travelsoon.com, says: "That both Simply Red and The Beach Boys are performing this July just goes to show that when it comes to Tenerife holidays, there's something for everyone."
He adds: "But even if they're not your cup of tea, Tenerife offers up a wealth of music, from top-flight DJs performing across a range of clubs around the island, to more family-friendly fare such as cabaret, karaoke and classical concerts."
The Beach Boys will hit the Pabellon Insular in La Laguna on July 7th. They might be short one Brian Wilson, but you can guarantee they'll be packing in all their greatest hits, from 'Surfin' USA' to 'Good Vibrations' to 'Kokomo'.
Later in the month, Simply Red will grace the boards to knock out hit after hit at the Adeje Golf in Costa Adeje (http://www.travelsoon.com/tenerife-holidays/costa-adeje.html ) on July 20th. Part of Simply Red's 'Farewell Tour', this will be one of their last ever concerts, so you'll need to grab your tickets quick.
Travelsoon.com offers cheap holidays to Tenerife all year round, so if you're a fan of either band, you've no excuse to miss the concerts, and maybe catch a little sun and shore along the way.
"We're currently offering some fantastic package deals on Tenerife holidays in July, with flights from London and a week's stunning resort accommodation for as low as £176 per person," says Luke Nathan. "Coupled in with Tenerife's amazing beaches, year-round sunshine, and vibrant nightlife, the chance to catch these musical legends performing this July means that a holiday to Tenerife has never been so tempting."
