Royal Warrant renewed for award winning Air Partner
Thursday 20, January 2011
Air Partner started the New Year secure in the knowledge that as it celebrates 50 years of successful trading in 2011 it also remains the only aviation company to hold a Royal Warrant.
The company’s Royal Warrant as Supplier of Aircraft Charter to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, originally awarded in 2004, has been renewed again until at least winter 2014. Royal Warrants are highly coveted, globally recognised marks of excellence and are granted by HM The Queen, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh or HRH The Prince of Wales.
Simon Wheatley, UK Manager of Air Partner’s Private Jets division, said: “For a company that respects its clients’ right to privacy and values discretion so highly, it is rare for us to have the opportunity to talk openly about any of our customers. It is enormously gratifying for the team involved with our Royal account that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has chosen to renew our Warrant, which lends tangible substance to the Air Partner brand.”
Confirmation of the Royal Warrant extension coincided with Air Partner winning a VERYBEST.com ‘best jet charter 2010’ global award and a Best Companies star status. VERYBEST.com awards are described as, “an homage to products, services and people representing the highest levels of excellence in brand image, quality, creativity and customer service.” Best Companies accreditation is a UK scheme gathering comprehensive feedback from employees across eight critical areas of workplace performance and practice including leadership, personal growth and communication.
Air Partner is a leading provider of aviation services to industry, commerce, governments and individuals worldwide. The company flies Royalty and numerous heads of state and acts for six of the G8 group of governments. It also provides humanitarian relief aid flights, is the sole passenger and freight air charter contractor to the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID), and has a contract to transport emergency transplant organs for the National Health Service.
Air Partner has 20 offices in 17 countries and offers a range of products and services ranging from ad hoc commercial airliner charters seating up to 500 passengers to its own JetCard private jet membership scheme and its growing freight division.
Mark Briffa, Chief Executive of Air Partner, said: “We are absolutely delighted that Air Partner’s Royal Warrant has been renewed. Our teams work very hard to ensure we provide an excellent service for every single client and it is wonderful to have such prestigious recognition. It is a very encouraging start to Air Partner’s milestone 50th year of trading.”
More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
