Ryanair launches 7th Kerry route
Thursday 8, April 2010
Ryanair, the world’s favourite airline, today (7th Apr 10) announced its 7th route from Kerry Airport to/from Dusseldorf (Weeze) from 1st July. Ryanair’s new Kerry route will go on sale on www.ryanair.com tomorrow and has been made possible thanks to low costs at Kerry Airport.
This is the third new Kerry route since Ryanair cut routes and aircraft from Shannon Airport and Ryanair celebrated its new routes by releasing 1m €9.99 seats for travel Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays on over 500 routes across its European network in May and June. These €9.99 seats are available for booking on www.ryanair.com until midnight Thursday (8th Apr).
Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said:
“Ryanair is pleased to announce a seventh Kerry route to Dusseldorf (Weeze) from summer 2010. As a commercially run airport, Kerry realises that airports and airlines must work together to reduce the cost of travel to Ireland as the Irish Government’s suicidal €10 tourist tax continues to collapse Irish traffic and tourism”.
Dusseldorf (Weeze) is approx 70km from Dusseldorf.
