Spotlight on the A380Wednesday 7, April 2010

Air France is today putting a new video about the A380 online. Fuel-efficient, comfortable, quiet, spacious and environment-friendly … This short film describes all the special features and assets of the A380. A real guided tour!
The Air France network is based around its hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle which connects customers from short and medium-haul flights with long-haul flights. In this way, the capacity of the A380 is perfectly suited to the powerful Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub which offers over 20,000 connecting opportunities every week.
Air France is the first European airline to operate flights by A380 and the first airline to offer transatlantic services on board the biggest ever civil airliner.
Out of the twelve aircraft ordered, two have already been delivered. After New York in November 2009 and Johannesburg in February 2010, Air France will start operating flights to Tokyo by A380 during 2010.
