Swiss to show Swiss TV hits inflightWednesday 21, July 2010

SWISS is to add Swiss television productions to the inflight entertainment available on its long-haul flights.
The new option, which will fittingly be introduced on 1 August, the Swiss National Day, will offer a choice of almost 30 quality Swiss television productions including comedies, documentaries and arts-and-culture programmes.
The popular programmes will be provided, in association with Schweizer Fernsehen, on all SWISS Airbus A330-300 and A340 services. “We want our customers to feel at home aboard our flights,” explains Markus Binkert, Head of Product & Services at SWISS. “So we’re delighted that we can now offer them even more ‘Swissness’ thanks to our new collaboration with Swiss TV.”
The selection of programmes available under the new arrangement will be regularly changed and updated. Details of the TV programmes currently offered on board will also be provided on swiss.com.
