Tune Hotels to unveil its first UK hotel in August, offers 1p-a-night rooms

Tune Hotels, the low-cost hotel chain, is to launch its first UK hotel in Westminster, London in August. The hotel will be Tune Hotels’ first expansion outside of Asia.
To celebrate the opening, there will be a series of ‘TuneDays’, where the already cheap accommodation will be cut to just one penny a night when booked online, reported The Daily Mail. The company is offering rooms from one penny on certain days from June 29, bookable online at the group’s website, tunehotels.com. There will be 1,000 rooms available in the promotion, to be released on TuneDays through June and July.
As per the information available, the chain says that its prices in London will average €41 per night but promotional rooms will be available from €11.
Fifteen more of the hotels will open in the Greater London area by 2017.
The limited service hotels promises to offer a 5-star sleeping experience at a 1-star price.
