Tune Hotels to unveil its first UK hotel in August, offers 1p-a-night rooms
Thursday 24, June 2010
Tune Hotels, the low-cost hotel chain, is to launch its first UK hotel in Westminster, London in August. The hotel will be Tune Hotels’ first expansion outside of Asia.
To celebrate the opening, there will be a series of ‘TuneDays’, where the already cheap accommodation will be cut to just one penny a night when booked online, reported The Daily Mail. The company is offering rooms from one penny on certain days from June 29, bookable online at the group’s website, tunehotels.com. There will be 1,000 rooms available in the promotion, to be released on TuneDays through June and July.
As per the information available, the chain says that its prices in London will average €41 per night but promotional rooms will be available from €11.
Fifteen more of the hotels will open in the Greater London area by 2017.
The limited service hotels promises to offer a 5-star sleeping experience at a 1-star price.
Features of the chain are as follows:
More and more travellers think that researching and planning a European city break is half the fun and they're not interested in pre-arranged trips or escorted tours. Self-guided tours offer a lot of advantages but require some guidance and good resources.
With the recent wild fires, disrupting flights and increasing air pollution, environmental quality is a growing factor in attracting tourists.
The hotel price comparison site www.trivago.co.uk has put together a list of the fifteen most spectacular hotel rooftop terraces in the world.
