Virgin Holidays will soon launch their own social media solution. Following an increasing trend for onsite social media, Virgin Holidays are adopting the white-labelled Visitor Review solution from Digital Visitor to better interact with their existing customers, while reaching out to more.
The solution will allow Virgin Holidays customers to share and exchange their travel experiences by posting photos, videos and reviews of destinations they travel to globally.
All of this user-generated content will be displayed on the relevant pages of the Virgin Holidays website, allowing visitors to see authentic experiences from other like-minded travellers.
A key objective for implementing this onsite social media solution is to provide Virgin Holidays with a real measurable ROI by increasing organic traffic to their website, increasing the browsing time of their customers and increasing the number of enquiries and conversions from booking pages displaying social media content and reviews.
Virgin Holidays’ Web Marketing Manager, Katherine Harris, says: “Social media and reviews are becoming an increasingly important part of people’s decision making process when deciding where they want to go on holiday.
